Simhacalam, Jandelsbruum, Baveria, Germany
This is a micro dairy of of only two cows. One has retired and one has been giving milk for about 10 years. What is specifically of note is the cow (or should I say heifer) gave milk without even having a calf.
Initially it was noticed that the cow had a very slight swelling in the udder. On pulling the teat some clear’ish liquid was discharged. It was suggested that many cows have given milk by entering such cows into a milking regime where the liquid gradually changes its constitution into milk. After a short few days this cow was producing milk. The quantity gradually raised to about 10 litres per day.
There are no oxen on the farm at this time.
